It came out of the Deep South 30 years ago...Philadelphia was a Christian hard rock/metal band out of Shreveport, LA that released 2 CDs, scored a top twenty CCM hit, played dates in Dallas, Chicago, St. Louis (as well as Longview and Atlanta, TX lol) and endured the public scorn and ridicule of men like Jimmy Swaggart and David Wilkerson.

Always controversial , but always sincere, the boys did what they knew best, and that was rock 'n roll. The guys in the band never kept a dime of any moneys made, instead using it to help others.
